Today I am sifting and sorting
\nthinning and releasing
\ntrying to rid myself of
\nstuff
\nand generally making myself sick
\nI am terribly allergic to dust
\nand therefore find myself constantly caught
\nbetween avoiding it altogether
\nor letting it settle
\nthis of course tells you something about
\nmy housekeeping
\nand although I did take my walk in sunshine
\nthis morning
\nI have spent most of the day
\nupstairs
\nmoving furniture
\ngathering and finding things
\nto part with
\nyesterday my husband and I spent the early part
\nof the evening
\ncutting away at ivy that started taking over
\na couple of windows upstairs
\ntoday
\nair is flowing
\nfreely
\nan overdue task completed
\nmasterfully
\ntogether we have conquered
\nand I tell my husband, he is my
\nhero
\nhe tells me,\u00a0 this.. he knows
\n(of course he does)
\nlove also
\nis flowing
\nfreely
\nmy scratchy throat and a brief bout of sneezing
\nlet me know I have probably
\ndone enough
\nfor today
\nand more importantly it is
\ntime for tea
\nthe warm spicy yellows of turmeric
\ncinnamon and ginger
\nand the sweetness of honey
\nquickly begin to soothe
\nthe clouds have moved in and the sky
\nhas lost all of it’s colour
\nthe young cardinals
\nare calling me out, and I find it hard to resist
\nthis invitation
\nthey really are growing so fast
\nand now look very much like the mother
\nall three are spending a lot of time in the cedar
\nand snowball bushes
\nI have tried, but have been unable to capture
\nany fitting shots of how lovely they are
\nand so I opt to simply admire them
\nand to chat with them
\njust quietly
\nas I wander along
\nthe breeze starts to dance
\nand I take this opportunity to lift my wings
\nand to fill my lungs
\nwith the freshness of
\nair<\/p>\n
when my hands and eyes come down
\nto rest
\nI spot a lovely little heart
\nwaiting for me
\nin my Labrador violets
\nand
\nhere it is…<\/p>\n
Breath
\nLove
\nand
\nGratitude<\/p>\n
flowing
\nfreely<\/p>\n
