To live in grace
\nto wasting wisely my days
\nto sitting outside in the early morning sunshine,
\nwith my love
\ncoffee and a rather large book
\nto bare feet brushing gently against the dog
\npink polka-dot toes buried in the blackest of fur
\nto the many voices of the birds as they
\nchitter away the morning\u2019s news
\nto a visit with the flowers, greeting each one
\nand gladly admiring their
\nbeautiful faces
\nto the magic of spiders and bees
\nand other little flying things
\nthat dance
\nto monarchs and hummingbirds who instinctively stop me in my doing
\nto a stillness,
\nfascination
\nand smiles
\nto sunshine on shoulders
\nskin
\nsensuous, sultry and warm
\ninviting the touch of cool
\nlips
\nto taste
\nand the softest of breezes
\nwhispering kindnesses
\nto caress
\nto a quick kiss
\ngood-bye
\nto quiet,
\ncontemplation<\/p>\n

to the kitchen, and
\nto baking
\nto the chocolatey scent of
\ncookies in the oven
\nspreading their centres wide
\nfreely, oozing their goodness
\nwithout a fear of
\nlosing
\nto laughter, to love
\nand to kindness
\nto birds, and to bees
\nto flowers
\nand
\nto you
\nand to never wasting a days
\nI love you<\/p>\n

to words, and to windows
\nand
\nto wonder<\/p>\n

to live in grace, as much of the time as possible<\/p>\n
