Hello Mr. Blue,
\nthis is how my morning starts<\/p>\n
enjoying my coffee while watching the Blue\u2019s come and go at the feeder
\noutside the window, more snow is falling
\nwhen I say to my husband,
\nJust look at Mr. Blue!
\nand he says, \u00a0looks like a blue jay to me
\nyeah, I say, \u00a0but just look at his colour,\u00a0 the blue\u2019s against the white,
\nhe\u2019s so gorgeous
\nand he says,\u00a0 looks like a blue jay to me\u2026<\/p>\n
three times in the last day and a half
\nsomeone has blessed me by sharing video of a young boy
\ntalking about what it is you practice
\nif you practice negative thinking, you become very good at
\nthinking negative
\nif you practice anger, you become an expert at anger
\nif you practice worry, or the \u2018it\u2019s not fair\u2019s of the world
\nthan it is this you become very good at
\nif however you practice joy\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 well,\u00a0 you see<\/p>\n
my heart expands with this each time I have listened
\nand been blessed by these simple truths
\nfor it is here
\nI am
\nhome<\/p>\n
it is with these eyes I choose to view the world<\/p>\n
it is in the flow of words on the page that swirl deliciously on my tongue
\nit is in the hue of colours on the walls, that calm, comfort and soothe
\nthat catch my eye when I am deep in thought
\nmake my shoulders instantly settle to an ease
\nand always invoke
\nmy smile
\nit is in loving my husband grandly, everyday
\nin giving freely of my heart
\nso that I will always know
\nLove
\nit is in the majestic beauty of nature, plants, animals and birds
\nthe magical simplicity of a simple snowflake
\nas it falls
\nit is in the glorious golden gleam of the sun
\nthat fills me
\nand the brightest beaming illumination of a freshly cut
\nsliver of a crescent moon
\nit is in the exquisite eye of a photographer, a painter,\u00a0 a sketcher
\na creator
\nin the writers of words, of songs, of Love
\nit is in the storytellers
\nand the truth tellers
\nthose that touch my heart, that take my breath
\nthat speak the words
\nwhen I am
\nunable
\nto
\ncapture
\nthe
\nthrill<\/p>\n
it is in the brilliance of minds, and the kindest of hearts
\nand those that make me
\nlaugh<\/p>\n
it is in forever humbly, repeatedly and wholeheartedly
\noffering my deepest
\ngratitude

and this, comes with a practice

\na practice of simple
