So here it is again, the day for love
\nthen let me begin,
\nby waking up into sunshine, ever thankful for a day off
\nby straightening my husband\u2019s bow tie, again before he goes
\nand savouring
\nkisses
\nby reading over \u2018Be My Valentine\u2019 words of love he has left me
\nwritten on lined paper, \u00a0in song titles of the Bay City Rollers, no less<\/p>\n
you know, most everyday I listen to the words of a love song, set to music
\nwritten in a poem, a letter or a book
\nand I think to myself.. who writes these words of love, simple, solid
\nand sincere
\nto feel so much for someone with such gratitude, as to share
\nit with the world, and not to be afraid of losing
\nwell, I guess I do<\/p>\n
I believe words of love to be the most beautiful thing
\nwhether written down or spoken out loud
\nit is the loveliest thing to tell someone just how you feel
\nwhen you feel it
\nwe don\u2019t,\u00a0 I think,\u00a0 \u00a0do this \u2026 often enough
\nwe are afraid, I guess
\nmy thinking is \u2026\u00a0\u00a0 what\u2019s to lose?

let me tell you this, such a wonderful liberating feeling
\nto speak of Love, just as you are feeling it
\nto let the words catch one off guard
\nand snatch your breath
\nto let them fill you up, to feel your heart swell up in your chest
\nor to whisper them softly
\nto the wind
\nin hopes that they reach you, just
\nwhere you are<\/p>\n
you don\u2019t need to have a \u2018valentine\u2019 present
\nor even an intended recipient
\nwords of Love start with you
\nand in you
\nand to
\nyou
\nstart with kindness
\nand compassion
\nconsideration
\nand presence<\/p>\n
cynicism of the day, a load of rubbish, waste of time, I don’t have anyone..

\nthere is always someone for you to say I Love you to
\nalways, and often

\nout loud<\/p>\n
because love starts within
\nit is always here
\nand what you give, multiplies
\nnot because you have been told this is the day
\nor this is what you need to spend
\nrather because this

You are Love<\/p>\n
so this then is my Valentine to you
