On days that I am writing,\u00a0 I do little else
\neven though I have begun my day with thoughts of things
\nI should do\u00a0 (there\u2019s that \u2018s\u2019 word)
\nI don\u2019t focus well
\nI don\u2019t listen well, except to the words in my head
\nthat to me suggest a certain magic
\nthat I am wishing to get down before they have escaped me
\n(like most other things in my head seem to do)
\ndoing little else, also includes even eating
\nunless sometimes the shakiness of my hands indicates
\na certain
\nnecessity
\nof nourishment
\nI barely notice
\nand then when I have written them down,
\nI resume my day, slightly disoriented…<\/p>\n
this morning I am reading an already beautiful book
\nI have just started,
\nit is Birds Art Life by Kyo Maclear
\nas I read ..
\nat first I am thinking a little to myself,\u00a0 she writes like I do..
\nand really\u2026\u00a0 \u00a0the arrogance of me!!
\ninstantly I feel the need to tuck this little thought away,
\n\u2018for my eyes only\u2019
\nlike a puritanical librarian, I scold myself back to reading,\u00a0 quietly
\nwhile inside I am nodding,\u00a0 high-fiving, chanting and then screaming
\n\u2018I get it, I GET THAT!!\u201d
\nand such an incredible life affirming feeling
\nis this<\/p>\n

\nand yet another addresses the non-solicited advice given in distinctive mean-spiritedness
\na bite no matter how large or how small is still meant
\nto hurt, isn\u2019t it?
\nwhen possibly it is the biter themselves.. who are the more feeling
