\nmy shelter from things that go bump in the night
\nthe one who let me know that Santa had been here, and just what \u2018I\u2019 had in my stocking
\nmy dance partner or really the one who let me stand by and
\ntap out the beat for her performance
\nleader of the band,\u00a0 who\u2019d hand me the tambourine, as we joined in with the Defranco Family
\non our K-tel records
\nalso the one who put me off the combination of peanut butter and honey,
\nafter we thought eating a whole sticky bowl of failed cookie batter off our hands was the perfect solution
\nthe trusted Sentinel to our combined Halloween candy stash
\nlater stolen by \u2018mice\u201d\u00a0 (we still need to talk about that one)
\nkeeper of the home fires, when I was away in hospital and our mother stayed with me
\noften the early carrier of great responsibility<\/p>\n

my sister, I can tell you is courageous and smart,\u00a0 creative and articulate
\nshe is funny, and fun
\nand adaptable
\nshe is capable, able and she is strong<\/p>\n
we took different paths in life,\u00a0 as you do
\nwe stretch, we change, we grow
\nwe leave,
\nwe come back
\nwe lead,\u00a0 we follow<\/p>\n
we help
\nwe hurt
\nwe support, we sustain
\nwe laugh, we cry
\nwe withhold
\nwe silence
\nwe struggle
