So this is the story of me today,
\nfor some unknown reason my left leg is swollen at the top
\nand very sore
\nI can\u2019t think of anything I have done to strain it, but Monday night it started to hurt
\nthen I had to work yesterday and by the end of a 10 hour day
\nI was in quite a lot of discomfort
\nby the time I got home all of my skin had started to hurt, and I wasn\u2019t sure if it was from
\ncompensating for pain all day or if possibly I had picked up a bug and these two things
\njust happen to coincide
\nso today, \u00a0as I don\u2019t have to be at work,\u00a0 I have no choice (or more intentionally)
\nI have made it my choice
\nto sit
\nand try to find my ease
\nbecause – and my apologies here to my friends or anyone who suffers with debilitating illnesses especially those dealing with chronic pain
\nbecause,\u00a0 I find it darn inconvenient to be attacked by my own body
\n(as I am sure you do too!)
\nanyway,\u00a0 that is my tale of woe (rather undramatic, I know)
\nthe blessing I suppose is that after a little moaning\u00a0 (we all are entitled to a little of that!)
\nwhat is then received is an outpouring of kindness and love
\nand these are indeed two of my favourite things
\nand really in my simple opinion,\u00a0 capable of seeing one through
\nmost things<\/p>\n
kindness and love,
\nwe are surely all entitled
\nto a little of that<\/p>\n
it’s damp and overcast outside
\nstill quite hot and humid and even though the air conditioning is on
\nI am\u00a0 vastly over-heated
\nbut feeling the need for a little fresh air
\nso I take my camera out for a brief hobble around the gardens
\nkeeping my eyes open
\nfor small
\nmiracles
\na quiet little chat with the flowers and a squirrel
\nand a short visit with a black blue and orange butterfly
\nhas me feeling a lot less moan-y and a little more convalescent
\nand so, as prescribed,\u00a0 I\u2019m going to settle in
\nmy chair
\nwith a cup of tea
\na hot water bottle\u00a0 (a hot water bottle, is that still a thing? or have I just told you how old I am!??)
\nand my book
\nand as a way to ease myself through, I\u2019m going to say a few names
\nof the friends that I know of
\nwho suffer
\nand also for those souls anywhere
\nwho suffer
\nin
\nany way<\/p>\n
I\u2019m going to offer up some loving- kindness
\nto you ..\u00a0 and to me
\nand then I’m going to send it out on the breeze
\nthat we<\/p>\n
may all
