well, \u00a0she finally arrived,
\nin \u00a0all her gracious splendour
\nthe first day of fall, and one could not ask for a more glorious entrance than this!<\/p>\n
I step out into my ray of light this morning to be heartily received by a chorus of \u00a0‘chick-a-dee-dee-dee’. \u00a0I know it is really me that they are professing their love to, and not just my suet cakes. \u00a0I say good morning to the fishies, bright and beautifully waiting at the surface for my arrival.
\nAdmire the tadpoles, down in numbers, but still swishing away in their own private meeting place. \u00a0Sunshine sparkles thorough spiderwebs masterfully planned and executed. \u00a0I walk to the garden to check on the tomatoes still ripening, basking in the glory of the sun. \u00a0A bumble bee buzzes \u00a0just then, directly behind me, so close as to make all the tiny hairs on my neck stand up and send tingles racing through my body. \u00a0For a moment, I am perfectly still.
\nAs I turn around, I see tiny pine cone seeds spiraling through light to the ground, and I think of a wish.
\nMy wish is this –<\/p>\n
that you will at least once a day
\nfind your sunlight
\nquiet your mind, close your eyes
\nraise your face to the sun
\nand breathe<\/p>\n
breathe in light
\nbreathe in beauty
\nbreathe in Love<\/p>\n
breathe in forgiveness<\/p>\n
breathe in kindness
\nbreathe in wonder
\nbreathe in Joy<\/p>\n
it’s all there …<\/p>\n
it’s all,
\nhere<\/p>\n
it’s not in your politics, it’s not in your social issues, it’s not in past hurts and perceived wrongs
\nit’s not in competition, in favours, in privileges<\/p>\n
it’s in Love
\nit’s in Light
\nit’s in
\nYou.<\/p>\n
and all one has to do is
\njust be open<\/p>\n
to the beauty, which is there
\njust where you are<\/p>\n
with your face to the sun<\/p>\n
that’s my wish ..<\/p>\n
and then.
\nwe would be in this together
