When my work day begins it\u2019s still dark outside
\nas I walk, I take a deep breath and look up at the sky
\nwhere above me shines a very bright star
\nI make my wish (as I do every day)
\none for me,\u00a0 one for you
\nthat this day..\u00a0 ahead
\nwill treat us kind<\/p>\n
someone very special to me is facing, I guess one could say
\nthe fight of her life
\nand as I worry, for her
\nas she struggles with the isolation of illness and its treatment
\nI wonder how best I can be of support
\nso very far away
\nand as I wish somehow – \u00a0to make this all just go away
\nbut I know
\nthat even I don\u2019t have this kind of
\nmagic wand<\/p>\n
as I look to the sky I have no magic, I have no real medical knowledge so I consciously send her bits of love from here \u2026<\/p>\n and I wish her well, I send her love and I ask again, then I take a deep breath<\/p>\n and we agree, bird\u2026\u00a0 by\u2026 bird\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2665<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
