This morning I am
\nwell and truly taking a day off
\nfrom doing
\noutside it is brutally cold
\nwhile inside..\u00a0 I sit
\ncozy and warm, with my book
\nwatching the birds
\nthrough my window
\nthe sun shining brightly
\nmaking the lovely white snow
\nglisten<\/p>\n
this morning I am grateful
\nthat mother nature has heard my plea
\nto ease off
\na
\nlittle
\nin the falling<\/p>\n
this morning, I look to the smiling face
\nof a friend
\nwho is gone,\u00a0 but still\u2026
\nright
\nhere
\nblessing my day<\/p>\n
a post of love from his devoted husband
\nlights a spark
\nof recognition and great
\nunderstanding<\/p>\n
this morning, I have a chat with my mother-in-law
\non the phone, which for me
\nis rare
\nshe, still settling in
\nto new digs
\nand me just\u2026
\nsettled<\/p>\n
we laugh together,
\nand she says to me,\u00a0 \u201cI wish you were here
\nbecause you are so jolly\u2019
\nwhich feels just like a warm hug
\nthen
\nwe laugh
\nsome more<\/p>\n
around me great piles of her possessions
\nin care
\nstill to be sorted
\nsomewhere along the way, we have lost
\nthe bed sheets<\/p>\n
this morning, I am contentedly inactive
\nquietly gathering in
\npeace
\nand gratitude
\nfilling up
\nand easing out
\nspaces
\nnecessary care
\nall the while feeling that most assuredly I have missed
\nlast evenings allergy pill<\/p>\n
this morning, in sunshine
\nI am trying to encourage the canary
\nto
\nsing
\na little more
\nfor reasons of pure selfish
\ndelight<\/p>\n
this morning I am sending a message
\nof love and light
\nappreciation and gratitude
\nto find you
\nright where you are
\nright now<\/p>\n
May you be happy
\nMay you be healthy
\nMay you be safe and at ease<\/p>\n
May you find a moment of great peace
\nin your day
\nfor laughter and to say
\nThank you<\/p>\n
May Love and Kindness surround you
