yesterday,
\nI rode my bike home in the rain
\nand i didn’t melt
\na bit<\/p>\n
so there you have it
\nproof that I am not entirely made of sugar<\/p>\n
while I revel in sunshine, it’s true
\nI also come with clouds
\nthis is to say that I am not always sweetness and light
\nmy dearly beloved can attest to this<\/p>\n
but, that ‘it’ is always there
\nin some way<\/p>\n
twice today I have looked up and spotted a heart
\nfloating above me
\nonce in the grey clouds drifting between the trees
\nand once
\nin a beautiful billowy white, floating among the blue
\nboth I am accepting
\nin equal measure
\nI have reached for my camera
\nbut as it is with clouds they travel on
\nthey know it is not necessary to stay unchanged
\nfor me to have seen, and bear witness
\nto visions of Love<\/p>\n
I have of course found my spot, to be still
\nto face the sun
\nto feel it’s warmth on my skin and in my heart
\na blessing to my day
\nand to my well being<\/p>\n
have wandered …
\nmy daily walk of gratitude
\nto fill my eyes, my ears
\nand my heart
\nwith Love<\/p>\n
and when I am full
\nit is to know that this, all of this
\nis always there
\nis always here
\nwith me
\nand in me<\/p>\n
and even when I am riding home from a long day
\nof work
\non my bicycle
\nin the rain
\nthat little bit of sunshine is still with me<\/p>\n
and I shall not melt
\nnot even a bit
\nas my ‘sweetness’ lies quite protected
\ndeep inside of me<\/p>\n
and shelters me
