I wanted to write something today,
but I
haven\u2019t had the time
I find if I don\u2019t get started early,
it\u2019s too easy to get caught up in thoughts
of what really should get done<\/p>\n\n\n\n
anxiety is high
that\u2019s where I would start
I know when I am walking the edges
of dullness and
light
(and who wants to hear about that anyway)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the sun comes out
on a beautiful day
outside,
he picks up one of the garden fairies
buried all winter
under leaves and snow
one of the wings has fallen off
he says
I hear ya sister..\u00a0 says me
meant to be a moan,\u00a0 but somehow
stirs us both
to
laughter<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wanted to write something today,
but I
haven\u2019t had the time,
so I\u2019m watching the birds
the chipmunks and toads
I\u2019m sneezing my way through spring
giving my husband some love, some laughs
and again
I\u2019m breathing deep,
finding gratitude…
and waiting
for things
to
