This morning, first thing I grab the camera and go out to snap some more pictures
of the tulips, \u00a0kissed by rain
I just cannot get enough of these beautiful beings.\u00a0
While I do not fancy myself much of a photographer,\u00a0 I just feel the need to try and capture a moments beauty, so that I can share it with someone..\u00a0 who may have missed it in their day.\u00a0\u00a0 Most probably, exactly why I write nonsensical bits of ramblings here also, just to share little morsels of goodness.
Or little morsels of something\u2026.\u00a0 anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I shall not rest myself in the sorrows of the world.\u00a0<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n This line is in my head today. Not even sure where it came from, except of\ncourse for a brief glimpse of the constant feed of rubbishy politics. Yet one more loud-mouth appears in a bizarre\ngrasp at power, and again attempts to turn back the clock. A young extremely narrow-minded MPP whose\nbody to my knowledge does not contain a uterus, \nyet dares to presume to tell me or anyone of my gender what I may and\nmay not do with my own body? What year\nis this??<\/p>\n\n\n\n In speaking of this to my husband this morning over coffee,\u00a0 I say to him\u2026\u00a0 well I can\u2019t really tell you what I say to him –\u00a0 something less than gentle.\u00a0 Then I laugh and tell him this may be my new catch phrase,\u00a0 my new comeback for everything!\u00a0 To which I then laugh myself almost to tears, and my heart expands as I can see how much he is amused by my attempt at brash, which quickly dissolves Minutes later,\u00a0 as he begins to tell me a story, I interrupt him with one of my own.\u00a0 (I do this)\u00a0 I then tell him that I will only interrupt him this one time, and he laughs because he knows me too well to believe it. into silliness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today this feels good.\u00a0 After a few days of harsh tones and sharp replies, my love and I once again settle ourselves back into that comfortable feeling, the flow\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 of love.\u00a0 Of course, you know – it is all love and indeed its flow –\u00a0 the terse and the ease, everyday humans \u2013 us.
This morning, he has not rolled his eyes ( a gesture I despise) and instantly hurt my feelings.\u00a0 Instead,
we laugh, we listen, \u00a0we love and we both become more attentive to kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How I can see my face softening
and I am curious about what it is we wish to ..\u00a0 enhance,
the big bold beauty industry and its push
also (without sounding like I am now ancient) at this age \u2013 if I even care,
I know my face
so well
If we do not augment,\u00a0
will beauty
be seen…
again,\u00a0 a lesson from my flowers.\u00a0 I meet each one with gratitude.\u00a0 I suppose some enhance with stronger fragrance, more flamboyant petals and patterns.\u00a0 Still each one appears beautiful in their own individual way and for me, not one gets overlooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
if she doesn\u2019t hear from him, she initiates
and I think to myself,\u00a0 how kind.
This little nugget stays with me and I wonder if I may start something like this
with my sister..\u00a0 as a way of simple connection
I am also thinking that not a week should pass, that I have not sent
a Thank you
to someone.
