drifting in like
\nenchanted confetti
\nsomewhat unwelcome
\nis this visitor
\nyet beautifying
\nin it’s grace<\/p>\n
weighing heavy on the branches
\ndrawing everything in close<\/p>\n
the scent of freshness
\ntingles the air
\nunseen toes
\nmagically dancing across the pond
\nrippling the surface<\/p>\n
in a symphony of silence
\nthe dancers appear
\ntoes to pavement
\nthey pirouette in
\nand then just as quickly
\nseem to disappear<\/p>\n
a chill in the air
\nhastens my attendance
\nof today’s performance<\/p>\n
I find myself also, \u00a0now
\ndrawing in
\nclosing the door ..<\/p>\n
I have borne witness
\nto her beauty
\nbut it’s not time yet
\nfor you to stay<\/p>\n
wrapping myself in the comfort
\nof a sweater
\npouring another cup of tea
