It is interesting reading
about children of alcoholics (being one myself)
and its effect on one\u2019s development and
character
on one\u2019s whole life\u2019s
telling<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and also strangely being at this age
of life (thoughtful, introspective, no longer so very young)
and witnessing first hand the sad seemingly
senseless decline
of friends who unintentionally
falter<\/p>\n\n\n\n
there is a quote by\nMarianne Williamson often shared,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. for both the one who suffers, as well as the ones
who
suffer\u2026 too<\/p>\n\n\n\n
again
who comes from, in small ways, similar things
as I
who at a tipping point makes the difficult decision to
change the direction of things
for herself, for (it is my guess) her children
sacrificing the shape of a love
that still sits in the heart, like a window begging
to be wiped clean
for visions
of what could have
been,
to what .. is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in my estimation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
greatness that holds us back from standing
sure
in our own life
(the alternative I suppose, is being so very certain
of one\u2019s power
as to be completely obnoxious)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
of us .. (of me)
to be here,
finding our way
walking along the steps on a path of pebbles
contemplating the effects
of autumn light
on leaves
that
fall<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
