does one feel as if the brakes
have suddenly been applied
or perhaps
you have been unceremoniously
shoved
to another lane<\/p>\n\n\n\n

where you are left wondering
really, what
is it all
about<\/p>\n\n\n\n

survival of the fittest
or fittest
of
the survival<\/p>\n\n\n\n

how best to use one\u2019s heart
to save
the world
from\u2026\u00a0\u00a0 as it turns out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

itself<\/p>\n\n\n\n

informed the other night
that I
am in the vulnerable crowd
deemed,
old (says a twenty something)<\/em>
once had pneumonia
sometimes suffer from allergy onset asthma<\/p>\n\n\n\n

inspired
I am
instead<\/p>\n\n\n\n

possibly the perfect blend
of fragility
and strength
turns out to be exactly
what holds me
together
my own beautiful bits
of glue<\/p>\n\n\n\n

much to be pessimistic about
so many ready
to judge
fear feeds the fearful
makes one care more for the lepers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

while I
still prefer the sunny side
of the street
even when
I\u2019m the only one
on it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

where simple compassion
feels like
therapy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and today’s beautiful blue sky
combined with the vibrancy of
new buds
feels like
love

and here, with all
we\u2019ve been given<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the perfect time
to
enjoy
this<\/p>\n\n\n\n

space<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as more of a blessing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

than
a
curse<\/p>\n\n\n\n
