uncertainties
the monotony of which
causes fissures
of frustration to splay themselves
on the kitchen floor
spilling on to words like
trust, faith and
knowing
allowing crass
conspirators more room to
build ridiculous things
in plain
sight
no sun today, just cloud
and the worry that
we
shall not be better for this
as all things ugly continue to rise
to the surface of
