Friday feels to me\u00a0
like comfort\u00a0
it happens to not be a work day for me\u00a0
and has quickly become\u00a0\u00a0
my\u00a0favourite\u00a0day\u00a0
most often I\u00a0spend\u00a0at least\u00a0the morning\u00a0\u00a0
with my love\u00a0
a small bit of shopping\u00a0
(also known as finding a few more books)\u00a0
the rest of the day, more or less\u00a0
is all mine\u00a0
to do with what I wish <\/p>\n\n\n\n
today is sunshine, though still rather cool
tomorrow spring arrives and how wonderful\u00a0\u00a0
is that\u00a0
usually thoughts are, Thank Goodness
but the past year of
out-of-the-ordinariness\u00a0
has not really felt so long, rather\u00a0
like a continued endless loop\u00a0
being that we are not entirely through this mess\u00a0
yet\u00a0\u00a0
still, spring has that hopeful feeling, doesn\u2019t it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
birds in the garden are at the gathering\u00a0
sticks and grasses, traces of dog hair
building materials
for nesting\u00a0
and that indeed is a hopeful thing\u00a0
also poking lots into the newly uncovered grass\u00a0
for bits of nourishment\u00a0
\u00a0
longer hours of daylight as well have that\u00a0
feel good feeling about them\u00a0
and\u00a0loads of little green sprouts\u00a0\u00a0
everywhere\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve been feeling a tad bit cynical
with regards to the social media world
of late
and tired I guess, of ridiculous disapproval
soap box steppers
and know so much more than the rest of us
tellers
alternatively, I\u2019ve been quite happy to wander museums
period properties
and English gardens
in thoughts of a flowering
things that might beautify this wondrous world
instead of detractor’s distractions
and dissatisfactions <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve been thinking about\u00a0
aging and settling,
refreshing
and\u00a0\u00a0
things that renew\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
like love
kindness and
friendship <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and just how wonderful it can be\u00a0
when we nourish each
other <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and watch then,
how things\u00a0
