This then could easily serve as my mission statement,\u00a0
as I am thinking, what of this day was I wishing to tell you\u00a0\u00a0
about\u00a0
\u00a0
possibly of course, it was that the toads have this morning\u00a0
returned to the pond, already far too many to count\u00a0
and are currently splashing and\u00a0splooshing\u00a0around\u00a0
singing loudly their songs of love\u00a0
in hopes of\u00a0\u00a0
attraction\u00a0
\u00a0
or just how lovely it is to see the male cardinal\u00a0
his brilliant rosy red body, in the barely budding trees
alighting just beside me
in all his
finery
\u00a0
the grand sight\u00a0rising straight up in the sky\u00a0\u00a0
from the crown of the maple tree\u00a0
of an\u00a0aeroplane\u00a0or possibly a\u00a0\u00a0
jet\u00a0
soaring, with its vast trail of white\u00a0
slicing through a gorgeous blue\u00a0
ascending the heavens\u00a0\u00a0
above\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

maybe it was the light 
back on the ground 
that again falls in miraculously new 
shine 
on the angel in my garden 
where she 
stands 
in reverent beauty <\/p>\n\n\n\n

or was it just to point out\u00a0\u00a0
all the subtle invasions of\u00a0colour\u00a0
that keep popping up and\u00a0\u00a0
out\u00a0
even after having just looked\u00a0\u00a0
the day before\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the gently reassuring buzz
of the bees
as they stop in to touch
each scilla
by
flower<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and oh yes, how gloriously warm
the sun feels\u00a0\u00a0
on one\u2019s \u00a0
skin
divinity in a caress

Have I told you all this before?
Hmm…\u00a0 might’ve been this <\/p>\n\n\n\n

or maybe\u00a0\u00a0
it was something I had to tell you…\u00a0
about\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
