my big bag of words…<\/em>

have you ever taken a walk in the\u00a0woods\u00a0
a hike or a\u00a0
wander\u00a0
you come to a spot, completely shrouded by\u00a0
trees\u00a0
it is dullish and quiet\u00a0
possibly you have lost sight\u00a0
of the\u00a0\u00a0
path\u00a0
and you wonder for a minute\u00a0
how it is you will ever find the way\u00a0
out\u00a0
and you think to kick yourself\u00a0
for getting into this\u00a0\u00a0
mess\u00a0
again\u00a0
not so smart, and what…\u00a0 now\u00a0
what have you done
I mean, you know well it\u2019s not completely\u00a0\u00a0
hopeless\u00a0
you have\u00a0brought a torch\u00a0
(should\u00a0you need it)\u00a0
and you know not too far up ahead\u00a0
there is of course, always.. a return
to light\u00a0
yet you opt instead to stop here\u00a0
(whimper just a little to yourself, knowing that is how
you will feel better)\u00a0
shhh.. you will say, soft pat on the shoulder
in the quiet\u00a0
in the\u00a0
dark\u00a0
open the drawstring on your bag of words\u00a0
and let them all\u00a0\u00a0
loose\u00a0
in a great chorus of chatter\u00a0
they float up in the trees\u00a0
and get stuck\u00a0
in the branches\u00a0
above\u00a0
making your load a little\u00a0
lighter\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

you will find here, if you sit for just a minute\u00a0
let your eyes adjust to the light
what filters in\u00a0\u00a0
is\u00a0\u00a0
a kind of tenderness\u00a0
perhaps you\u2019ve been seeking\u00a0
\u00a0
a few soft words come loose from the branches
float down then, words like\u00a0
gentle<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
and\u00a0kind<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
rest themselves at your feet\u00a0
and wait just there\u00a0
until you are ready to take up\u00a0\u00a0
the path\u00a0
again\u00a0\u00a0
\u00a0
while\u00a0edgy<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0irksome<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0cynical<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0
settle in on the forest floor\u00a0
setting themselves down\u00a0\u00a0
as\u00a0
compost\u00a0
\u00a0
when you have sufficiently caught your breath\u00a0
filled your lungs\u00a0
rested your feet and\u00a0
back\u00a0
you take up your bag again\u00a0
and begin the slow\u00a0\u00a0
walk\u00a0
out\u00a0
\u00a0
collecting words that will be useful\u00a0
along the way\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

like grace<\/strong><\/em>,
and like <\/p>\n\n\n\n

love<\/strong><\/em> \u2665<\/p>\n\n\n\n
