this little\u00a0\u00a0
red\u00a0
bug
although my first shot, when I grab it
is a ladybug
who has caught my eye
so brilliantly vibrant in the morning shine\u00a0
of sun in the garden <\/p>\n\n\n\n

at this we begin\u00a0\u00a0
to wander (to my thinking, like gentleman and lady\u00a0
on the grounds of a very grand estate)\u00a0
looking closely at\u00a0
the\u00a0\u00a0
nature\u00a0
of things\u00a0
yet, what is really just us and the dog\u00a0
spending a few minutes together\u00a0
(to\u00a0his thinking, listening to me chatter, while momentarily\u00a0\u00a0
making his wife happy)\u00a0
another gloriously hot day, where at work, in a greenhouse\u00a0
I would be\u00a0sweltering\u00a0
but at home I luxuriate in the languid ease\u00a0
of a day off, to sit and\u00a0
read\u00a0
exactly what these kinds of days\u00a0
are made for\u00a0
perfectly suited to a soft seat, a cool drink\u00a0
and when needed, a little bit\u00a0
of shade <\/p>\n\n\n\n

when the shine causes one to squint, and the heat\u00a0
starts to make lids\u00a0\u00a0
droop\u00a0
instead of a nap\u00a0
I get up from my chair, refill the bird baths\u00a0
do a little sorting in the beds\u00a0
feed the fish\u00a0
walk again just quietly looking at things\u00a0
this\u00a0\u00a0
my sanctuary <\/p>\n\n\n\n

it is here always, that I am filled with such gracious\u00a0
gratitude\u00a0
the very best fortunes of life\u00a0
to be loved,\u00a0\u00a0
to\u00a0\u00a0
Be\u00a0
love\u00a0
to appreciate simple, unhurried things\u00a0
to watch clouds, and birds\u00a0
to pet the dog\u00a0
to think gratefully of those lovely souls\u00a0
who touch my life kindly, make me smile\u00a0
for days\u00a0
to willingly hold even just a small bit of the worlds pain\u00a0
with compassion, with grace\u00a0
to breathe deep\u00a0
and\u00a0
free\u00a0
to recognize love in all its forms\u00a0
and to offer it\u00a0
kindly, when I can\u00a0

many, many things can change a day\u00a0
but if today you take a minute\u00a0
to spot\u00a0
just one small red bug\u00a0
(or\u00a0whatever it may be for you)\u00a0
and pause, just here…\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
breathe deep\u00a0\u00a0
notice\u00a0
connection to life\u00a0
and\u00a0
to love\u00a0

to gratitude and to\u00a0\u00a0
peace\u00a0

then,
there you go now<\/p>\n\n\n\n
