stepping out to check the mail\u00a0
feels like a stage\u00a0
I don\u2019t want to be on\u00a0
amazing you know, how much cozy comfort one gains\u00a0
from a large shady tree\u00a0
and just how much.. home it contains
still feels weirdly like a death in the family\u00a0
like no matter what else we do there\u00a0
something\u00a0
will always be missing
we have started replanting, in the process of\u00a0\u00a0
rewilding\u00a0
with much more purpose in mind,\u00a0
than a\u00a0\u00a0
front lawn, maintaining\u00a0\u00a0
grass\u00a0
but everything starts small\u00a0
and still looks kind of haphazard\u00a0\u00a0
everywhere signs that…\u00a0 something\u00a0\u00a0

I do worry how the squirrels and the\u00a0
birds will adjust\u00a0
yet I suppose, like the rest of us\u00a0

after he has gone off to work
I take a little snack outside
to my chair by the pond
sit with the sun on one shoulder
talk to the fish, watch the birds
the butterflies and the clouds
let the breeze brush my face, and the sun
warmly romance

skin
let the colours and textures around
gather me in, in a parade of
riches
breathe in deep, listen and
smile
try then to put down a few words
about love <\/p>\n\n\n\n

to always fill oneself very full to\u00a0overflowing\u00a0

as the heart, when it is open\u00a0
