we can learn\u00a0
to begin\u00a0
again\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a brand new day, begins 
a brand new 
year 
this waking  
hour 
of beginning 
again <\/p>\n\n\n\n

where we are not so sure of the answers 
where we do not propose  
to know 
no longer the experts, the advocates, the 
all informed <\/p>\n\n\n\n

instead, we are the questioners, the observers\u00a0
the pleasantly surprised\u00a0
the wonderers, the wanderers,\u00a0the\u00a0can\u2019t believe my eyes!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if we take this year 
in quiet contemplative steps 
and then we meet for tea at a table for two 
or for 
six 
or for \u2026 
ten 
and we watch the birds, and we look at the sky 
take note of who is here 
and we tell each other something  
about love <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if we care more  
about each other, about the world 
about each bruise and each 
scar 
what if we try to be tender 
and say something nice 
about the flowers <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and how lovely it is to meet you 
here <\/p>\n\n\n\n

in

what if we mention how wonderful it was 
that you were kind 
that you cared, that we laughed or 
we cried <\/p>\n\n\n\n

but at least in some way

to be stuck\u00a0

and we think again, how nice it can be to say thank you\u00a0
and to mean it\u00a0

we may not see this one again, you know\u00a0
but how fortunate that you were here\u00a0

and how fortunate
it is
