This one is impossipuzzle, he says\u00a0
frustrated at the rate of progress on our latest endeavour\u00a0
ah, it\u2019s good for your brain, I tell him\u00a0
thinking, problem solving, different perspectives\u00a0
sounds like too much work, this is dumb\u00a0
actually, he says stupid – knowing this is a word we do not use\u00a0
to emphasize a rather weak protest\u00a0
if it was so easy, we\u2019d hardly enjoy doing it, I say\u00a0
carrying on with my search for a missing piece\u00a0
\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

this morning I am reading about Mapping Meaningful Connection\u00a0
and the Language of Human Experience (Brene Brown)\u00a0
I\u2019m thinking about our connections and our separate-ness \u00a0
indeed, partially a sign of the times, in the era of Covid\u00a0
but also, simple choices\u00a0
things we may not think to do, or to \u00a0
notice\u00a0
to \u00a0
acknowledge\u00a0
I\u2019ve been spending less and less time on social media
(sorry if I missed your birthday \ud83d\ude09 ) \u00a0
I made myself a pact to step away from the endless scroll\u00a0
and on facebook in particular, to shut off at the first sign of derisive postings\u00a0
and comment\u00a0
negative, racist, thoughtless, conspiratorial \u00a0
not biting into things that tend to leave\u00a0
a bitter \u00a0
taste\u00a0\u00a0
things I do not need attaching themselves to my skin\u00a0
find it much easier to stop it where it stands\u00a0
things based more in fear, poorly disguising themselves as\u00a0
bravado\u00a0
\u00a0
instead, I look at things I like\u00a0
and people, I like too\u00a0
and I spend more of my time, as I always have
sending out messages of goodwill\u00a0
and\u00a0
love\u00a0
send a quick note to someone, let them know their intention\u00a0
was \u00a0
most gladly, received\u00a0
does wonders I will tell you \u00a0
for the condition of\u00a0
one’s own\u00a0
heart\u00a0
makes my skin, much \u00a0
softer too\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

here then, in my effort to bolster our interconnectedness\u00a0
(and wasn\u2019t this our supposed reason \u00a0
for showing up\u00a0
in the first place)\u00a0
my simple request to you\u00a0*<\/strong>
tell me won\u2019t you, about someone who has mattered to you\u00a0
or something that may have gone unnoticed\u00a0
that touched you\u00a0
that made you feel even for just a short time\u00a0
a little bit\u00a0
wonderful\u00a0
you can name them here, or choose not to\u00a0say exactly who
but do write your comment here
in this small request for something a bit interactive\u00a0
where I implore you to actively
participate

and my hope here is to hear something from someone
who may on occasion, have brushed past my words
and maybe this time,
might stop here
