“First let me tell you everything that\u2019s happened since you left”<\/em>,\u00a0
I will say through the window, \u00a0
you see I sensed she\u2019d gone off to the woods\u00a0
to walk quietly among the bluebells\u00a0
and to \u00a0
have a serious talk with the trees\u00a0
about things that cause the tears to pile up\u00a0
and to\u00a0
sit at the ready, to begin falling \u00a0
at a moment\u2019s notice\u00a0
I could tell she needed space\u00a0
had seen the scowl, eyebrows low\u00a0
at times like these, she never even tries\u00a0
to filter her face\u00a0
instead,\u00a0
she will wear that particular expression\u00a0
like a shield\u00a0
not so much as to keep you out\u00a0
but rather, to \u00a0
keep herself\u00a0
safe\u00a0
from any unnecessary harm\u00a0
cause I know her well enough by now to know \u00a0
at times like these, \u00a0
everything\u00a0
will\u00a0
hurt\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and often you will hear her breathing \u00a0
something like a sigh, although much more resigned\u00a0
as if\u00a0maybe, she might be giving up\u00a0\u00a0
but instead, this proves to be something good\u00a0
as I can tell you, this means that she \u00a0
is easing through\u00a0
and hopefully on her way back
(takes a little time)\u00a0
\u00a0
often, she is seen carrying things some deem\u00a0
heavy\u00a0
things like sorrow and shame\u00a0
fear and foreboding\u00a0
anxiety of course, (almost always there)\u00a0
some of these things she owns, yes\u00a0
but just as often, she will volunteer\u00a0
to carry some of it\u00a0
for you\u00a0
(because she is strong)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stands to reason though,\u00a0
that days will come\u00a0
when she just needs to withdraw a little\u00a0
into her own\u00a0
or off among the trees\u00a0
and \u00a0
lay it down\u00a0
\u00a0
on days like this, I try to check in\u00a0
leave some flowers by her door\u00a0
tell her things about \u00a0
love\u00a0
and just make sure \u00a0
that someone, leaves a light on\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
