{"id":4405,"date":"2022-08-19T18:00:33","date_gmt":"2022-08-19T22:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tamara.tedzplace.ca\/?p=4405"},"modified":"2022-08-19T18:00:37","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T22:00:37","slug":"nothing-much-but-i-was-going-to-tell-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tamara.tedzplace.ca\/?p=4405","title":{"rendered":"nothing much, but I was going to tell you&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Mostly I wanted to tell you about the monarchs<br>how every time we step out<br>into the front garden<br>they<br>appear<br><br>and how it always feels like<br>the most honourable<br>visit<br>to us,<br><br>as<br>endangered as now they are<br><br>and also about the rabbit<br>that came into view last night<br>just on the other side<br>of<br>the<br>gate<br>the very softest looking nut brown fur<br>that I had spotted first<br>before those two lovely ears popped up<br>and there was no mistaking<br>the visitor<br><br>how he stayed, just there<br>facing the street, having a nibble<br>and then a lovely grooming bath<br>while we stayed back as not to alert the dogs<br>and just watched him<br>in<br>admiration<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>it felt so wonderful, and kind of even miraculous<br>(though you will say, it was just a rabbit after all)<br>but that he was there<br>sat<br>facing the street, in only slightly waning<br>daylight<br>while sounds of domestication rattled all around him<br>yet he felt safe in our wildly un-manicured state<br>safe<br>and<br>protected<br>enough to sit, offering quiet<br>meditation<br>to those who had discovered<br>but chosen not<br>to<br>disturb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I might then just slip in how my husband and I spent<br>a gentle evening catching up on things<br>and how<br>a small bit of time together (in a rather busy season)<br>sitting<br>to a sparse, simple meal<br>can do so much to<br>fortify <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and how friends that allow you to be<br>quiet,<br>possibly even<br>withdrawn<br>when necessary<br>(as well as one who will tell you how the planets, the stars or<br>you being born under what sign &#8211; may have been unnecessarily rough on you of late)<br>will magically, maybe even unknowingly<br>give you just the kindest<br>squeeze<br>you had been hoping for<br><br>but also, \u00a0that very, very large bee who came this morning<br>to join me<br>for<br>coffee<br>how he spent much time in the phlox just over my shoulder<br>collecting<br>sweet things, with such gratitude<br>that bees will not hesitate to give,<br>should you be open to<br>listening<br>close<br><br>and Oh, my yes&#8230; \u00a0there was that moon<br>just about perfectly sliced in half<br>that once the sun was fully up and highlighting the gorgeous-ness of<br>blue<br>that beautiful moon was suddenly above me<br>like a sticker made of frosted glass had been pasted<br>on a blank canvas<br>that curiously hadn\u2019t been there merely a minute before<br><br>and I couldn\u2019t help but to take a big breath<br>bow my head and say Thank you<br>for<br>notice<br><br>for awareness<br>and for beautiful things<br>or<br>at the very least, for things that I might find<br>beautiful<br><br>but really, I wanted to remind myself to tell you again,<br>how very much I appreciate you<br>the things you do, the things you<br>are<br>and quite possibly don\u2019t even realize<br>(but I do)<br><br>and how,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>somewhere, someone will be gathering these little bits<br>of kind and miraculous things<br>reminiscent of&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and tucking them away in the small pocket<br>attached<br>to their heart<br><br>and my dear one<br><br>Love<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>will surround you \u2665<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mostly I wanted to tell you about the monarchshow every time we step outinto the front gardentheyappear and how it always feels likethe most honourablevisitto us, asendangered as now they are and also about the rabbitthat came into view last&hellip;
