The nature of just how things work
in a person,
in a
body

of one who battles uncertainties
one who will
suffer
for a couple of months
before finally making a call

and yet
find oneself met
by the very kindness of someone who answers
who will ask, who will then
listen
and respond
with very sincere compassion and
concern

who will set for you
a phone appointment for that very afternoon
as to not have you wait another
week
to breathe

as well, a slightly entertained but always caring husband
who will
cheer a bit for progress
but also
listen  
as to why you must now mostly pace
preparing yourself
until a phone rings that you must answer
as scheduled<\/p>\n\n\n\n

yet who will also, spend a few extra minutes
before he has to leave
in peals of laughter
(his own kind of magic, passing of time)
and this of course
the best
kind of medicine <\/p>\n\n\n\n

and here again
three of my very favourite things
expanding with

gratitude
for
kindness
and
love

simple, simple things
that make right

the world
