my Uncle John
who has been gone a whole year
yet how much I always feel the presence of both he
and my Aunt Pat
still
in guidance and in

today, celebrating a dear friend\u2019s birthday
and also
my sweet boy Ted
turns 12\u00a0 \u00a0(we\u2019re not talking about it)
today, I sat with my feet up
and started reading
a new book
one of life\u2019s great adventures
and one of my
simple
pleasures
today I am brought to tears
through intentional acts
of
kindness
and expanded through
listening

today I am watching from the window
the softest snow fall
and slowly pile up
on the trees
in such a way as to make
everything beautiful<\/p>\n\n\n\n
