Today in recognition
of the mighty thistle

I am currently carrying with me,
on the
inside
a ba-a-a-a-ad mood
a prickly sort of crust
that I can feel, tight
in my jaw
internally, from about the ribcage
up
like a pot
about to boil over

warning flares have been sent
mostly to my husband, for his own safety
by means, that now
you
are at your own risk<\/p>\n\n\n\n

yesterday, a full day of rain showers
seemed to suit, just fine
however,  I come in from work
hot and
tired
to extra people in my house
which
one might know, rather upsets
the natural rhythm
and most especially,  in this current
state<\/p>\n\n\n\n

consequence of unexpected
guests for the night
sleep was interrupted
and felt wholly
un-
restful<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and this combined
with said, current state
comes as a sort of test
to ones patient
reserves

nevertheless
quite conscious of this,
I am trying instead
to make my way
through
this day

with
love

sending loving kindness to you
when you happen to
pop into my
thoughts
to begin

nourishing and moving my body
with love and gratitude
for all the multitudes
contained
acknowledging the tension inside
but letting go
with
breath
locating the softest centre
where my heart
resides
(*hand on chest)

feeding the birds, the squirrels
and the chipmunks,
for kindness
and the simple joy of watching them
light

being amazed at the return of the monarch caterpillars
and the grace
of the many
butterflies

once again appreciating the sunlight
as it returns
to the garden

and focusing my day

on wishing You
well<\/p>\n\n\n\n

because You
are important
to
me

Observing the might
of
the thistle

counteracting
the prickles
by adding, that little bit

of
beauty \u2665
