Another gorgeous, gorgeous day,
I mean, that alone
is to be
celebrated,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but this morning, something wonderful<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a walk to my most peaceful spot
the pond
where for a time I will gaze on familiar spaces
as I do
every day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

there are words, etched on my skin
that remind me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to dwell
in possibility<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look closely
hoping to spot the snails
I watch tadpoles swishing among
the water lettuce and duckweed
a small dark shape swims past
and slowly registers
my eyes to my
brain
that, that was a bit too long to be a tadpole
and it would appear, that we
have baby fish<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I stay just quiet, transfixed on the spot
hoping to confirm
and then, camouflaged perfectly in the
parrots feather
my eyes adjust to a vision
I see
a frog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

completely overjoyed,
on the inside
I am excitedly jumping and screaming
yet on the outside
I am just quietly smiling
from ear to ear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel so honoured to have a frog move in
very different from my toads
this lovely fellow with his pointed nose
is a beautiful shade of
green
with no wish to disturb, hand on my heart
I very quietly and
ever so softly say to him,
I am
so<\/p>\n\n\n\n

happy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

you are here<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the hummingbird moths again
are a constant
I watch them closely this morning
feeding on the summer phlox
using their long proboscis in the tube-shaped flowers
the very same flowers that they,
the bumbles and other assorted bees
have visited for days now
as well today a Red-spotted Purple,
which actually is a beautiful black butterfly
with gorgeous blue and a couple of red spots
and right beside me
a Giant Yellow Swallowtail<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and I am wondering if the flowers have the ability to
repeatedly
reproduce their nectar
and just how much sweetness
can one flower hold<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as they do seem
to keep coming back<\/p>\n\n\n\n

this has me thinking, about just what it would be like
if we were to value each other so<\/p>\n\n\n\n

daily… repeatedly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to speak gently and kindly
as not to disturb
to place our hands on our hearts
and to smile from ear
to
ear
at the sight
of each other<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to express our
deep love
for
presence
and for the honour
of such<\/p>\n\n\n\n

if we were able to reproduce
our
sweetness
that delicious genuine thing
that unmistakably
draws you
in<\/p>\n\n\n\n

if we paid more attention
to
the conscious nature
of love<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and we thought<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to put something good<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in
the
world \u2665<\/p>\n\n\n\n
