Last night, I leave my hockey team
to their
misery
and instead ask my son, if he wants to watch
a movie
my son, a devoted movie aficionado
makes the choice
and so, last night I finally watch
Roberto Benigni\u2019s Life is Beautiful
it has been on my radar for some time
and even though I do love them
I don\u2019t make enough time for movies
and you might know, just how heartbreakingly wonderful
I found it to be
I could hardly decide who I was in love with more
Roberto\/Guido or the innocence of
that gorgeous little boy Giosue(Joshua)
the love of a man and father
who above all, uses humour, the great gift of his own imagination
and love
to protect his son from unimaginable atrocities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
yesterday as well, I read words of love
from a great friend
in honour of Trans Awareness
and again the love of a father, for his
son
touched me, just as deeply<\/p>\n\n\n\n
today,
I
am blethering out thoughts
in
word form<\/p>\n\n\n\n
if for any reason this needs repeating\u2026
at the centre of me
I am Love<\/p>\n\n\n\n
