I am most definitely
the other<\/p>\n\n\n\n
my Spotify wrapped put my age at 83, oh\u2026
but I will say, also could not define my top genre
as I listened to 281 different ones
and that part
did
sound like
me<\/p>\n\n\n\n
with an accent I adore
a lifestyle in the countryside, \u201ca life of merry bedlam\u201d
of which, I suppose I might imagine myself
to be
naturally, comfortably gorgeous in every way
in appearance, in home d\u00e9cor
children, and animals
adoring husband\u2026
the
lot
of course set for a magazine spread, so possibly
not always this put together<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I do always imagine myself
an English lady
in a small cottage, surrounded by
a cacophony of wild flowers
comfy furnishings, and
books, naturally
I\u2019ve sort of eased my fantasies about an assortment of animals
as too often I am reminded of incessant \u00a0
allergies
but you know, never say
never<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am none of these things
except maybe, \u2018the merry bedlam\u2019 part<\/p>\n\n\n\n
hair washed, but that is about all
dressed in an oversized sweatshirt and
dog hair
not the least bit glamourous
thinking of ways to drastically minimize
the state of my house
whilst also, quell the burgeoning panic
of not at all being ready
for
Christmas
fast approaching
and wondering once again, just how it is
I\u2019ll manage
to pull it off<\/p>\n\n\n\n
let me leave you with this –
after being awaken several times in the night
by the dogs
very early this morning, I had a dream of
joyfully
gliding across the back garden
most beautifully covered in sparkling white snow
wearing only, a pair of underwear, arms crossed
hands covering breasts
on, what seem to have been
the 1970\u2019s classic, Super Slider Sno-Skates
to tell my husband something most important
in full view of the backyard neighbour
who happened to be an old friend that I have not seen in years
(to protect the innocent, I’ll refrain from naming him)
and in the garage with my husband
was former Canadian television host Ben Mulroney
oddly none seemed fazed by my appearance
so there you are\u2026
analyze that
