I work at a job that I am quite certain I am not entirely suited for, it is hard, physical and most unlike anything I have done in a ‘professional’ capacity. \u00a0But the strains of life, necessitated a paycheque and this is where I have landed. \u00a0I struggled for a time to find my joy here, (and some days I still do)…
\nat the end of long days, with my achingly tired body, I wonder, \u00a0Can this be where I was meant to be?
\nAs usual, out of my agitated head, and instead resting in my heart, I find it quite easy to gather in gratitude for the people I work with, for kindness and always for the quiet beauty of nature.
\nYesterday, I am stood for a moment watching as a young woman whom I work with drives the tractor, which carries a heavy load.
\nI watch in silent awe.
\nI am wholly and completely amazed at just how adept she is, at easing the rather large rumbling tractor gently closer, then picking up a very large loaded cart, \u00a0carefully backing up, around and among various obstacles and debris then arriving at the destination, masterfully and skillfully and ever so gently placing this very large load exactly in the narrow opening of the barn, unscathed, as my friend and I proceed forward to move the load further to it’s resting place. This task is repeated a few times, and each time I stand in awe,
\nwatching,
\nmarveling ..
\nthe absolute beauty of this moment, has me very close to tears, \u00a0which I am sure sounds rather ridiculous given the scene I have just described. \u00a0However, \u00a0 this is me,
\nI watch in awe,
\nI profoundly feel this beauty,
\nand I think to myself, \u00a0‘I wonder, does she know just how Amazing she is?’
\nThis young woman is roughly the age of my oldest son, so maybe it’s a maternal thing, \u00a0she is also lovely and kind in spirit and in heart,
\nand so to me, I guess, it is all of this,
\nthat stops me here<\/p>\n

I have a friend who’s beauty shines in the pictures that she takes, not only in her skills of photography, but in the things that she captures, that to me offer the glimmering lights of her heart.
\nI have a friend who honours his wife and family in the way that he very proudly cherishes the gifts that surround him, and continue to build him, grand in stature.
\nI have a friend, who’s absolute love and commitment to her partner are in her every word, every action, and so very wonderfully, in her every smile.
\nI have a friend who’s found the wonder in life (again) and now honourably and fantastically, keeps it very much alive in the love he has for his son.
\nI have a friend, who has always been so incredibly herself, who’s heart was never hidden, and who’s beautiful light continues to shine through a face, surrounded by delicate strawberry curls, that somehow ages more beautifully than even seems possible.
\nI have a friend, who almost instantly I found great comfort in, in recognizing her heart as genuinely connected to my own, and in her presence, I am always instantly at ease.

\nand the absolute profoundness and beauty
