I don’t like shouting
and I am not a fan
of crowds
although as a mother of four
i certainly do understand
sometimes the need
to be
heard
my thoughts on this day
in our history
never should we
underestimate the power
of people who
care
and we must care
we must
for each other
and about
each other
all of us
because after all
we really are
our only hope
and as I say to my children
when they go out,
be smart
be safe
be
