What of a day
when I wish to write
but have not allowed
the time
When words swirl
catching my attention
tugging at the edges of a
busy mind
Rankled by words of a rather conditional kindness
and simple empathy
that peck away under the guise of
politics
and
‘good’ religion
And still
not wanting to absorb
any
little
bit
of
this
I push it all into the corner
and look instead
for something
to
celebrate ♥
