When I am in the grocery store,
it has become my personal mission

too busy, too hassled, too
mundane
too deep in thought
yet one genuine smile as we pass
and I can see you
soften
works sometimes,
sometimes not
either way, it cost me nothing
and I just like to see you
smile
glorious bright sunshine,
gorgeous warm temperatures
and the triumphant return
of my beautiful
crocus
it’s the little things…
