I had a little chat
with the toad I met at work today
and although he tried ever so
to convince me
and I noticed that twinkle in his eye
I did not honour him
with a kiss
I admired his lovely plump legs
and praised him for his
rugged handsomeness
and he said that I
was kind
then I left him in the shade
as I went off to sunshine
we’d parted as friends
no kiss bestowed
because
I
had already found
my prince ♥

.. and on an unrelated note: the sun was very hot in the greenhouse today 😉
