When the sky comes in
brightest blue
after an abundance of wind
and rain
and the sun brilliantly begins
coaxing out each tiny bud
and
leaf
And I have spent several hours
of the morning
with my love
where we have walked
the gardens
making
plans
In afternoon light
the pups and I, we do the same
this time a quieter more meditative
walk
in grateful things
For many days now
in this beautiful light
when I am out
a small, ever so graceful
delight
flutters around and comes to land
by my
side
a lovely red admiral
brings tidings
of
presence
and great joy
in
peacefully
perfect days ♥
