that’s how it started
with a really good
kiss
tomorrow is my anniversary
twenty-four years ago
on this day
the day before …
the day
I said to the one I loved
” if you aren’t sure,
if you have any second guessing…
don’t do it.
don’t show up tomorrow –
cause this is it
for me”
where I was living at the time
was right across the street
from the church
where we would be
joined
and
I was certainly
relieved
the next day
to hear
that
he
had
indeed
arrived (… whew!)
and so
here we
are
twenty four years
later
adding
another few
blissful seconds
to our
lives
and I am
forever
and everyday
Grateful
for this
and for him ♥
