Tamara Willems

in further studies of me… as flower

When every day becomes the practice
of letting go

of things..
old things, no longer useful things
old beliefs
old certainties
old
wishes

extra things
and
excess things
and things that just don’t serve

things thought to be in our control
and things
that never were…

old fears (a constant with me)
old
tears
and
old scars

even beautiful things
and cherished things
and
people we.. can’t..    lose

(breathe with me here…)

you see then,
when every day becomes the practice
of letting go…

we become
most grateful
most
open
most mindful
and
free

we more easily become
joy

we then allow ourselves to spread our wings
with ease we become a kind of
flow
and then…

we
soar

(Easier said than done?  That’s why we use the word ‘practice’ .)
