February sunshine and blue…

Late February, how weird is that
what can often feel like the longest month
seems to be slipping away
and indeed,
rather beautifully, I might add

Family day, where I will soak myself
in the great luxury
of
home
(and butter tarts)
while dear husband takes his staff
to make meals
at Ronald McDonald House
the now
usual tradition

no grand vacation shots to share
instead, this morning  I travel gloriously
through,
courtesy of
a few friends
then grab my camera, and head out
to the sunshine

another beautiful day feels
well worth celebrating
the sun is bright, the sky is blue
wisps of carded cotton on the slowest sail
above

the air is crisp and fresh
the sound of dripping water
like the tap, tap, tap
of
a
dancer
on a partially Ice covered rock
forms a beat

the birds are abundant
one of which is calling a most delightful
tune
haven’t spotted him or
her
just yet
but I am feeling quite honoured
by this
call

everything about this day feels
rather joyful
buds are beginning their
push
and even now, just being able to
breathe in this
air

feels
like such a great privilege

we have food, we have
shelter
water, sunshine, warmth
health

we have freedom

and we are ever conscious
of those
that
do not

we have love
to guide us, to reside
inside us

we have choices for peace
for
stillness
and for goodwill

we have privilege
we have
luxury
we have kindness

everyday
we have the choice
to love

every
day

May you be well
May you be safe, and
at ease
May you find comfort and
reasons for Joy in your day
May you find kindness and compassion
and make yourself a reflection
of this

May you be love
in all
its facets

May you, my friends
find your sources for
great love

and May you ever
be

May you,
yourself

ever
be ♥

and thanks for being here -^-
