mothering thing
you know,
there is
wonder
there is
worry
there is
wait
sometimes there is
struggle
there is
strength
there is
sacred-ness
there are
no set rules
yet
there are
many
guides
no sure way
it’s all learn
as you go
we are mothered by Mothers, by mentors
and friends
we are mothered by Fathers
and sisters
and then …
we are motherly and mothering
and sometimes
we are mother
less
we do our best
do what we can
and what we know
we give our hands
we give our hearts
and then
we
hope
that we have done enough
that we have learned
enough
that we have
been
enough
and that you know
that
there is so
much
to this mothering thing
before you go ♥
