So here’s the thing, my husband is a fabulous cook, and he likes to do so. And even though as I said, he has had to work everyday (and night) this weekend – somehow, much like the Shoemaker and the Elves – he manages to come home from work last night, and cook some things, and prepare some things, including making bread, and corn bread, AND this year he has even taken over my pies! – so that the whole Thanksgiving feast is ready to be warmed when he gets home from work today.
I am only in charge of the potatoes – (which are gorgeous I can tell you!), and popping in the turkey at the required time – as instructed.
(oh, and always … the dishes , really it’s the least I can do!)
Today we will gather as a family, with our house full, with our hearts full and we will indeed be
so very Thankful,
with love
to share.
Brightest Blessings to you my friends, from my family to yours!
